Overview

Clopay Canyon Ridge® Elements is the introductory Canyon Ridge carriage door. Four layers: steel, 1-3/8" polystyrene, steel, and moisture-resistant composite overlays with clean square Shaker edges. Official R-value is 6.5. Paint only — no Ultra-Grain® stain. Thirteen designs and seven finishes including Charcoal, Black, and Bronze, plus Color Blast®. Maximum size 18' 0" × 10' 0". This is the painted-wood look without Coachman-level overlay cost or 4-Layer Intellicore® pricing.

Elements is the Canyon Ridge we quote when someone wants a painted carriage door and does not need R-18.4. Dark colors that can void a Coachman warranty are a reason Clopay steers those jobs here.

Elements or Canyon Ridge 4-Layer?

Elements is paint-only with 1-3/8" polystyrene (R-6.5) and a max width of 18'. 4-Layer Ultra Grain adds 2" Intellicore® (R-18.4), stain finishes, and goes to 20' 2" wide. We quote both when insulation or a stain look matters.

Can Overhead Door of America install a Canyon Ridge Elements on my home?

Yes. We are an official Clopay dealer. We measure the opening, confirm wind-load needs, help you choose color and windows, and install the door with a matching LiftMaster opener when you want one.

Do these doors work in Florida heat, humidity, and storms?

Yes. We specify rust-resistant hardware, proper weather seals, and WindCode® reinforcement where required. Insulated models also help keep an attached garage more comfortable in summer.
