Overview

Clopay Canyon Ridge® Louver is the plantation-shutter garage door. Horizontal composite slats sit on an insulated steel door — the slats do not move. Official comparison rating is five-layer construction with 2" Intellicore® and an R-value of 20.4 (some designs show steel at the base and publish as low as 18.4). Twelve designs in Series 4 (41–47) and Series 5 (51–55). Windows only on Design 52 (REC11/13/14, SQ23/24). Clear Cypress or Mahogany, Ultra-Grain® or solid-color steel bases on select models. Max size 20' 2" × 10' 0".

Louver is the door we show on coastal cottages, Mediterranean stucco, colonials, and modern farmhouses that already have shutter language. Neighbors notice it. Insulation is still a full Intellicore® door.

Do the slats open like shutters?

No. The slats are fixed. An insulated steel door is behind them.

Can I get windows on any Louver design?

Windows are available on Design 52 only.

Can Overhead Door of America install a Canyon Ridge Louver on my home?

Yes. We are an official Clopay dealer. We measure the opening, confirm wind-load needs, help you choose color and windows, and install the door with a matching LiftMaster opener when you want one.

Do these doors work in Florida heat, humidity, and storms?

Yes. We specify rust-resistant hardware, proper weather seals, and WindCode® reinforcement where required. Insulated models also help keep an attached garage more comfortable in summer.
