Overview

Clopay Canyon Ridge® Modern uses four layers — steel, 2" Intellicore®, steel, and faux-wood cladding with fiberglass-filled boards — plus chamfered horizontal edges. Official comparison R-value is 18.4–20.4 (plank designs publish at 20.4; metal-inlay designs at 18.4). Eight designs: 3" or 6" planks, windows down one side, both sides, or full width; plus Full-View, black laminated glass inlay, and brushed-silver aluminum inlay. Cladding in Clear Cypress or Mahogany. This is the door Clopay shows on mid-century and Mediterranean modern homes.

When the house has horizontal siding, clean stucco, or a mid-century roof line, Canyon Ridge Modern is the wood-look door that does not fight the architecture. Neighbors notice. Insulation and quiet operation are the everyday payoff.

Why pick 3" planks instead of 6"?

To line up with the width of your siding or other exterior cladding. We will measure that with you.

Can I get custom-size windows?

Windows are 14" × 6" or 35" × 6". Layout (one side, both sides, or all across) is how we customize the look.

Can Overhead Door of America install a Canyon Ridge Modern on my home?

Yes. We are an official Clopay dealer. We measure the opening, confirm wind-load needs, help you choose color and windows, and install the door with a matching LiftMaster opener when you want one.

Do these doors work in Florida heat, humidity, and storms?

Yes. We specify rust-resistant hardware, proper weather seals, and WindCode® reinforcement where required. Insulated models also help keep an attached garage more comfortable in summer.
