Reserve® Wood Extira® is a paint-grade wood-composite door dense enough to route, carve, and cut with deep V-grooves. Four-layer build on polystyrene-insulated Hemlock frame (R-5.9). Paint only — including Color Blast®.

Contains wood that has no commercial timber value and is the byproduct of other operations.

Acknowledged by the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) 93120 to use exempt status ultra-low emitting formaldehyde (ULEF) resins.
Contributes to industry green building programs such as LEED and the National Green Building Standard.

Each window style brings in natural light while letting you choose the level of privacy and visual impact you want. Pair your favorite design with specialty glass or opt for true divided lite windows for authentic detail.

Personalize your garage door’s windows with a selection of specialty glass choices. Standard clear, tempered glass offers an open look and maximum daylight. If you want a bit more privacy or a decorative touch, opt for frosted, obscure, or seeded glass—all designed to let in natural light while keeping what’s inside your garage discreet. Seeded glass adds a subtle, textured pattern for a classic, handcrafted feel.

All window options use durable, safety-tempered glass. Just let your installer know your preferred style. Some glass types may have availability restrictions depending on your chosen window design.

Colonial Strap Hinge

Every Reserve® Wood Extira® garage door comes with sturdy spade lift handles, but you can personalize your door with a variety of handle and hinge designs. Choose from spade, spear, or colonial lift handles, each with its own distinct personality. Want more flair? Optional ring door knockers and escutcheon plates let you add even more character.

Step plates and strap hinges are available in matching styles, giving your door a cohesive, handcrafted look. All hardware is made from premium materials designed to resist weather and everyday wear, so your door keeps looking great and operating smoothly.
