This is Clopay Canyon Ridge® Carriage House 5-Layer: steel, 2" Intellicore®, steel, full composite cladding, and overlay. Official R-value is 20.4 — the highest in the Canyon Ridge carriage family. You do not see steel on the face; Clear Cypress or Mahogany composite is molded from real wood. Paint or stain finishes. Max size 20' 2" × 10' 0". This is the door for homeowners who want a wood house look from the curb and zero wood maintenance.

5-Layer is the flagship Canyon Ridge carriage door. Compared with 4-Layer Ultra Grain, the cladding hides the steel completely and picks up a bit more R-value. It is the closest composite gets to Reserve wood.

4-Layer or 5-Layer?

4-Layer shows steel under the overlays and can use Ultra-Grain stains (R-18.4). 5-Layer is full cladding, no visible steel, R-20.4. We will put both on your elevation so you can see the difference.

Can Overhead Door of America install a Canyon Ridge 5-Layer on my home?

Do these doors work in Florida heat, humidity, and storms?
