Overview
Clopay Gallery® Steel is a grooved-panel steel door inspired by old carriage houses. Choose 3-, 2-, or 1-layer construction. Insulated models use Intellicore® polyurethane or polystyrene with official R-values from 6.5 up to 18.4. Short grooved panels read traditional; long panels look cleaner and more current. Finishes include 16 standard colors, Ultra-Grain® wood-look, Lustra™ matte, and 1,500+ Color Blast® shades. Add windows and decorative hardware and it reads like a carriage door — without composite overlays.
Gallery is the steel door we sell when someone wants carriage-house windows and hardware but prefers a grooved steel face over Coachman overlays. It is durable, easy to live with, and easy to match to Colonial, Craftsman, farmhouse, or even a modern home.

Questions we hear
Gallery vs Coachman — which should I buy?
Gallery is grooved steel. Coachman adds composite overlays on top of insulated steel. Coachman looks more like real carriage doors; Gallery is simpler and often less expensive. We will show both on your house photo.
Can Overhead Door of America install a Gallery Steel on my home?
Yes. We are an official Clopay dealer. We measure the opening, confirm wind-load needs, help you choose color and windows, and install the door with a matching LiftMaster opener when you want one.
Do these doors work in Florida heat, humidity, and storms?
Yes. We specify rust-resistant hardware, proper weather seals, and WindCode® reinforcement where required. Insulated models also help keep an attached garage more comfortable in summer.
