Overview
Clopay Classic™ Wood is handcrafted in the USA. Models include solid single-layer wood or a three-layer insulated design. Model 44 uses Redwood, Cedar, or Hemlock in short or long raised panels. Models 20 and 10 use short or long recessed panels in smooth Luan, roughsawn Okoume, or paint-ready hardboard. Model 33 is smooth Luan or roughsawn Okoume for a more contemporary or rustic face. Factory warranties: one year construction and paint, two years stain. This is genuine wood character at a more approachable spec than Reserve Custom.
Classic Wood is for homeowners who want real wood and a standard Clopay model number — not a fully custom Reserve drawing. We will be straight about Florida finish care before you buy.

Yes. We specify rust-resistant hardware, proper weather seals, and WindCode® reinforcement where required. Insulated models also help keep an attached garage more comfortable in summer.
