Our Premium Series is Clopay Classic™ Steel at the top insulation tier: 3-layer construction with 2" Intellicore® polyurethane and an official R-value of 18.4 (models such as 9200 / 9203 elegant short and long panels). You still get traditional raised panels, a wide color list, and window options — just with the insulation and quiet ride people notice in an attached garage. This is the door we recommend when someone says “I want a normal-looking door that actually insulates.”
Premium / Classic Steel 2" Intellicore® is the best comfort-per-dollar steel door in the lineup. It looks like a traditional Florida door and performs closer to Canyon Ridge on temperature and noise.

Why is this not named Classic Steel on the menu?
The live site still uses Premium Series from the older catalog. Factory-side this is Classic™ Steel with 2" Intellicore®. Same dealer, same Clopay door.
Can Overhead Door of America install a Classic Steel Premium on my home?
Yes. We are an official Clopay dealer. We measure the opening, confirm wind-load needs, help you choose color and windows, and install the door with a matching LiftMaster opener when you want one.
Do these doors work in Florida heat, humidity, and storms?
Yes. We specify rust-resistant hardware, proper weather seals, and WindCode® reinforcement where required. Insulated models also help keep an attached garage more comfortable in summer.
